Original picture for my wedding

It’s a fact, there will be only one first wedding in the course of one’s life. It is therefore imperative to think of everything, including the wedding invitation but more importantly of the pictures that will immortalize your union. Here are some ideas to take original shots.

Originality rhymes with eternity

There is no limit in itself concerning the pictures taken of the newlyweds. In town, in the countryside, at the seaside or in the mountains, everything is technically possible. The initial idea of each couple is to immortalize this moment that will be engraved forever in their soul. On this account, take the time to imagine “really” original pictures that will go off the beaten track (parks, castles etc.).

Nature as a playground

The numerous splendours of nature clearly allow to take particularly original pictures. Seaside remains a must for many couples, then don’t hesitate to get wet to make your photos even more lively. Potential settings are many, and a good photographer will know how to find the best angles in order to magnify this moment. Always thanks to Mother Nature, other settings can be idyllic, as for example, a pretty wheat field, vineyards, a wood or even a clearing.

Willing to take risks?

In order to send a wedding invitation (or a thank-you card) that will make your guests dream, be ready to surpass yourself. Memories lying on glossy paper will only be better. For instance, some couples don’t hesitate to hang on to a harness along a cliff for an unforgettable shooting (seen in Hong-Kong or in the Alps). Wild animals can also sublimate this session like no other. Think about it if you live near a zoo or a tropical park. Other places scattered all around the world can be worth the trip. Whether in a tropical forest in Mexico, near a tornado in the United States, in the ocean off the Australian Coast, in the midst of heavy rain in Asia, or in full traffic in Paris, all ideas are welcome…

Ideas for English shootings

If you are not in the mood for crossing the borders, you may also simply opt for UK. What would you say of the rocky coasts of Cornwall and Devon and their beaches open to the swells of the Atlantic Ocean? What about a picture taken on board a steam train on one of the many English “Heritage Railways”, or an epic shooting at the feet of Windsor Castle, Leeds Castle, or Arundel Castle and its gardens, to name but a few. Exoticism and originality can also be local…
