 All use and services of our website are listed under the terms and conditions below.

 

Products

All of our invitations and stationary is designed and created in our workshops, following traditional printing procedures such as off-set, foil printing, laser cutting, embossing, etc.

Your items, personalised or non-personalised will be delivered unfolded and unassembled and will need to be assembled by your own care. In order to guarantee you the best possible prices, raffia is delivered in balls, small self-adhesives are pre-cut and cards with perforations have to be emptied first.

 

We have made an effort to ensure that the photos used for this website are a good reflection of the actual products. However, a perfect representation is almost impossible, especially in terms of colours and textures since so many monitor settings vary. Therefore, no refunds based on colouring or textures will be granted after delivery.

In the rare case that products are currently not in stock, we will inform you of possible delays as soon as possible.

How to order

If you have found the stationary or invitations of your choice, please add the number of items you would like to receive to your cart (minimum of 35 invitations or 20 items for stationary). A detailed description of each model and its price (incl. VAT) can be viewed by simply clicking on the item.

If you still have doubts, BestofCards offers you the possibility to order sample cards (invitations and birth announcements only). We will send you the samples by post so that you will be able to have a final look.

The content of your cart will be displayed and you can make modifications if necessary such as changing the number of items or erasing an item completely from your list. If you have previously created a personal account, please indicate your e-mail address and password.

If you do not have an account yet, you will need to fill in some personal details. With this account you will be able to shop faster, keep track of your previous orders and make any changes if necessary.

The confirmation of your order implies that you are fully aware of, and accept our selling terms and conditions.

Payments can be made directly on our website through Cyberplus- a secure payment facility provided by our bank or by bank transfer. Payments with PAYPAL will also shortly be possible.

You will be able to modify your order right up to the moment of confirmation. Would you like to add something to your cart? Click on “Continue” in order to change the quantity of you order. If you are certain to proceed, please click on “Proceed to checkout”.

We will send you an initial e-mail confirming your order and a second one to confirm your payment. Both e-mails will be send to the address indicated in your personal account. Please contact us if neither of these e-mails has reached you.

 

Delivery

Non-personalised items

We understand that you are excited to receive your order. We therefore do our best to make sure you receive your selected items as soon as possible. Non-personalised stationary (if available) will be send to you within 5 working days if you have approved your order and if we have received your payment.

 

Personalised items

In order to check the spelling of your wording, the chosen text colours and font sizing, an example of your design (a preview) will be send to you by mail as soon as possible. This preview enables you to see if you are happy with your order. Please carefully check your text before submitting since too many changes will delay your order. Any change request (spelling and colour changes excluded) after receipt of the pdf proof shall be charged 10 € for any additional proof from the third after the first proposal.

Please note that every modification you make on your PDF preview implies a 24-hour delay.

Birth announcement cards

You can expect a preview of your text within 24/48 hours after payment to help you with your final check. Birth cards, for which we have received approval and payment, will depart from our workshop and arrive with a maximum of 5 working days (this service does not apply during week-ends or bank holidays).

 

All other personalised items

After having received your payment, a PDF preview of your design will be send to you by mail within 2-5 working days. We advise you to verify your model carefully before approving it in your personal account. After you have given us your confirmation, your order will be printed within 2-5 working days and send afterwards.

Important! Unfortunately we cannot deliver any P.O. Boxes.

Upon delivery, please make sure to carefully examine your parcel and to inform the courier service responsible for the delivery of any inconveniences. If you accept a damaged parcel, any possible damage to your order will not be refunded. Please contact us if this happens to be the case.

If you would like the invoice of your order, you can find it in your personal account.

Delays in delivery cannot be submitted as reasons for penalties of any kind, nor can they result to the cancellation of an order. The mentioned deadlines are estimated dates and are subject to several different factors (courier, order capacity, and other for BestofCards unforeseen circumstances).

 

Payment

 

You can settle your payment by using the following options:

Please note that bank transfers might take a little longer since we will wait for the arrival of your payment on our bank account.

 

We kindly ask you to mention your order number with every transfer.

 

Through debit/credit card

Your payment will be made through Cyberplus, a secure payment facility, offered by our bank (La Banque Populaire). Since your payment is secured by La Banque Populaire, BestofCards does not have access to your card details. Your payment is therefore perfectly secured and will be registered.

 

PAYPAL

 

Customs Duties

Countries that are not included in the European Union often apply customs duties when importing items. Please note that these customs duties are not included in the price of your order and will not be provided for. You are responsible for these costs upon delivery.

 

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellations

It is possible to cancel or change your order right up until the moment of approval of your PDF sample. For order cancellations we charge £6 processing fees. Please note that all cancellations have to be made in writing, either by modifying your order in your personal account or by contacting us duly by mail. It is not possible to make any changes or cancel your order after you have given your approval for printing.

Incorrect items and shortages

We advise you to thoroughly check your parcel on arrival and let us know of any discrepancies as soon as possible.  If incorrect items have been sent, or if there are any shortages in your delivery, please contact us within 3 days.  After this period it will be impossible for us to look into your order and grant any refunds.

 

We will refund or exchange any items damaged and in some cases we will send you a transporter to pick up your order. Please contact us about more information on your return..  

 

 

Unsatisfied or ordered incorrectly

If you are unhappy with your order of if you have chosen the wrong items, please return them within a period of 15 days, including a copy of your delivery note or invoice. Please note that this service is only applicable for non-personalised items.

After reception, your items will be refunded within 30 days, provided that they arrive in a re-saleable condition and with any sealed packages unopened. You remain responsible for all returns sent until reception, and any costs for returning your order will not be refunded. If the returned goods are no longer in re-saleable condition, we may only refund you a percentage of its value based on the general condition.

 

Refunds for personalised items

Fully damaged order sent back:

Personalised items can only be refunded if the goods received are faulty or damaged (bad general condition, faulted, stained). Please verify the outside of your parcel upon delivery since the content of visually damaged parcels will not be refunded. Please contact us if this happens to be the case. In either case, you will have to create a new order in your personal account (identical to the initial one) that will be refunded to you after the initial order has been returned to us.

Partially damaged order sent back:

Personalised items can only be replaced if some of the goods received are faulty or damaged (bad general condition, faulted, stained). If this happens to be the case, please create a new order in your personal account with only those items that need replacing. This additional replacement order will be refunded after we have successfully received the damaged goods.

We will refund or exchange any items damaged, as well as the parcel costs for returning them after having received your return. Please contact us to receive the needed documents to add to the exterior of your return order that will grant you free shipping.  All returns refunded by BestofCards have to be send from the nearest post office.

 

Please ensure your stationary is correct in terms of spelling and layout before ordering. The service for refunding personalised goods, does not apply to writing mistakes or layout mistakes. Confirming to your PDF preview equals taking full responsibility.

 

Special offers and discounts

It is not possible to cancel an order or ask for a refund, if the initially bought product is bought on full-price and now the subject of a special offer or discount.

According to the Consumer protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, unfaulty, personalised products cannot be refunded. You however have the right to return non-personalised products within 15 days after reception, given they are still in their original packaging and in perfect selling condition.

Privacy

According to the Data Protection Act (1998), at any time, you have the right to verify, adjust or delete any of your personal details. In order to do this, please contact us by mail.

The personal information you provide will allow us to complete your registration; provide you access to the website to enable you to add or amend information which is listed there; and/or notify you of upgrade opportunities and offers.

BestofCards is submitted to the CNIL (French patent office) under the number 1196699.

We do our utmost to ensure that all information displayed on this website is accurate. However, we make no representations that information is always accurate or complete and accept no liability for any loss or damage caused by inaccurate information. We reserve the right to change products/prices without prior notice. Important: all cards will be delivered unassembled and will need to be assembled by your own care.

 

Our terms and conditions are subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. If in the unfortunate event you feel the need to complain, please direct your complaint to the fit court.
